Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Cairo

   Meet and greet at the airport, private transfer to your hotel near the pyramids.

2. Day 2

   Pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara

   The Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, the giant statue of Ramses II at Memphis, then Saqqara's step pyramid. Lunch at a local restaurant.

3. Day 3

   Grand Egyptian Museum and old Cairo

   Tutankhamun's treasures, then Coptic Cairo and Khan el-Khalili. Evening flight to Luxor.

4. Day 4

   Luxor East Bank, board your cruise

   Karnak and Luxor temples, then check in to your Nile cruise ship.

5. Day 5

   Luxor West Bank, sail to Edfu

   Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and the Colossi of Memnon.

6. Day 6

   Edfu and Kom Ombo

   The temple of Horus at Edfu and the riverside temple of Kom Ombo.

7. Day 7

   Aswan

   High Dam, Philae temple and a felucca ride. Optional Abu Simbel trip.

8. Day 8

   Departure

   Disembark after breakfast and fly home via Cairo.
