Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival, pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum

   Meet and greet at Cairo airport and check in at your hotel. Then the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum, with lunch at a restaurant facing the pyramids.

2. Day 2

   Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur

   The Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the giant statue of Ramses II at Memphis and the Bent and Red Pyramids at Dahshur, with lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, a dinner cruise on the Nile with music and a show.

3. Day 3

   Citadel, royal mummies and Khan el-Khalili

   Saladin's Citadel and the Muhammad Ali Mosque, the royal mummies at the Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, and the Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Lunch is Egypt's favourite street food: koshary.

4. Day 4

   Your day: rest, Alexandria or Fayoum

   Relax at your hotel or explore on your own, or add a private day trip to Alexandria on the Mediterranean or to the Fayoum oasis (extra). Then a transfer to the airport the same evening, or one more night and your flight the next day.
