Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Cairo

   Your guide meets you at the airport, helps with the visa and drives you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest after the flight.

2. Day 2

   Pyramids, Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum

   The three pyramids of Giza, a panoramic stop for photos, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Lunch facing the pyramids, then the Grand Egyptian Museum and the full treasure of Tutankhamun.

3. Day 3

   Fly to Aswan: High Dam, Philae and a felucca

   A morning flight to Aswan. The High Dam, then a motorboat to the island temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis. At sunset, a felucca sails you around Elephantine and Kitchener's Island.

4. Day 4

   Abu Simbel

   An early start on the desert road to Abu Simbel, about three hours each way. The four colossal statues of Ramses II and the temple of Queen Nefertari, with time to take it in. Back in Aswan for a relaxed afternoon, or add a visit to a colourful Nubian village.

5. Day 5

   Kom Ombo and Edfu on the road to Luxor

   A scenic drive north along the Nile, stopping at the double temple of Kom Ombo with its crocodile museum and at Edfu, the best-preserved temple in Egypt. In the evening, Luxor Temple lit up at night.

6. Day 6

   Luxor East and West Bank, fly to Cairo

   Karnak in the morning light, then across the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch at a local restaurant and an evening flight to Cairo.

7. Day 7

   Departure

   Breakfast, then a private transfer to the airport for your flight home, with our team helping you all the way to check-in.
